This wine gives us the pride and satisfaction of comparing Albana with the great German and Austrian TBAs (Trockenbeerenauslese, which refers to the harvest of selected dried berries, the top of the quality pyramid reserved for wines produced only in the best years and with grapes dried and attacked by noble rot).<\/p>\n
In 1995 we vinified the first 180 bottles (375 ml.) of this selection obtained by scalar harvesting of single berries in years in which botrytis develops sugar concentrations much greater than the average of the harvests used for Scacco Matto.
