Arrocco

Romagna Albana passito DOCG

Working with noble rot also means having to accept, almost on an annual basis, that a certain number of batches, in spite of all the effort put into it, do not have the complexity and richness that Scaccomatto requires. These lots, identified at the end of the harvest or during aging, are used for the production of Arrocco. However, unlike Scaccomatto, in some vintages to ensure productive continuity, this wine is also produced with a small percentage of grapes dried for several months in baskets.
